The UK is in trouble after several useless governments, not least the current labour shower who are loony lefties. They are actually anti British.Waving the national flag is considered racist to some.I believe that by the end of this government's term( 3 years ) it will have returned the Falkland Islands to Argentina and Gibraltar to Spain.

That would tragic as the UK spent a lot of effort to defend with blood and tears, including some military hardware.

I would prefer that 5 eyes continue but you have to admit they did not function in our best interest when it came to trying to damage Trump in 2016

It does not take a genius to figure out that the Falklands are thousands of miles from the island of Britain, and that given the nearly non-operational state of thew Royal Navy, Argentina might be tempted to try to invade, likely successfully. Making contingency plans for likely possibilities is unsurprising.

The current leader isn't going to do that as President Javier Milei isn't one to do such underhanded actions against another nation.

Fraid not old chap, the whole place has been upgraded, the airport has been extended with missile and advanced radar capability.
If they were stupid enough to try anything one of you ur subs would systematically reduce all of their naval bases to matchsticks.
Special forces of SBS and SAS would covertly be slotted in to do maximum damage and buggery to any military they were sent to take out.

I doubt Starmer would do much. He does not have the balls Thatcher had.
