Neighborhood Watch Signs Taken Down for Being Expressions of Exclusion

The sickness of leftism in full bloom as they push a lunatic effort to take down signs that doesn't hurt anyone.

    It was a 10-0 vote. 🤣

Neighborhood Watch Signs Taken Down for Being Expressions of Exclusion

    Posted on May 2, 2026

    Excerpt:

Neighborhood watch programs help prevent crime. But preventing crime is racist. Consequently, as the New York Post reports,

A woke Michigan city shelled out a staggering $18,000 to rip down hundreds of neighborhood watch signs after lawmakers branded them racist.

The page where the bottom link took me wasn't clear what exactly the signs were, but the New York Post had an image, so for information right here without having to go find it, here is a copy of one:

I sincerely do not understand how that could be viewed as an expression of exclusion, UNLESS you want criminals to be hanging around a given urban area.

I don't mean to be impolite, but did anyone go to that community gov site to get more information? I mean, this seems way - way too weird. If it is absolutely true and if I were maybe 20 years younger, I could rip them top dogs to shreds with a campaign to inform the world that there are some weird folks in that community.

Funny thing is, you aren't asking gangsters to buy a house in that neighborhood, because that's the fast way to stop crime in a given neighborhood. Or it used to be. Top gangster leaders don't like crime around the neighborhood where they and their families live.

Now, just off the top of my head - without hard thought - I could start a campaign of selling weapons to every family in that neighborhood because they'll need those weapons as they no longer have warning signs. Big advertisements something like: Buy a gun because the warning signs are gone.

Now if the town/city has tough guns laws, we'll think of other anti-crime stuff.

Landmine type smoke canisters in your lawn. You step on a trigger and huge bunch of smoke blows up out of a canister buried in your yard.

Yep, and I'm just getting warmed up. Give me a few hours and a few days and I could have some nasty opposition figured out to that nonsense.

"Expression of Exclusion" eh? I could sure have some fun with those words!

Guess one has to be weirder than them to win. There we go: A Weird Contest!! Make it an International Weird Contest. Get all cultures into it.

What gets me, is these people want inclusive criminals to have free reign of the neighborhoods. Those signs were specifically not to include criminals and those that would do ill will. If one ethnic group is causing that problem and the problem is with that ethnic group in general. There is no need to make them more inclusive if they are the problem.

This is insanity. Appeasement never works! These people are trying to appease a problematic group of people. Not only is this insane, this is epic stupidity!
