ABC’s Hostin: American Flags All Over the Community Make Me Feel Unsafe

Monday on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin said she felt “unsafe” when a community has American flags “all over.”

Hostin said, “You know, I think unfortunately in this country, people have different lived experiences. So while some may have a lived experience like this, it is the best country in the world. And while there’s some stuff that goes on, you know, other things are OK. That, for me, was a defining image of modern America for black Americans, defining. Patriot Front is a white nationalist organization founded in 2017 after the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. You know what, they promote an ultra nationalist ideology that focuses on creating a white ethno-state in the United States with the ultimate goal of reshaping American society to align with their vision of racial and cultural homogeneity. As a black woman, I’m sitting there in my country, and that’s the type of fear I have to experience.”

She added, “When I walk into a community and I see American flags all over the community and I suddenly feel unsafe because there is a section of this country that has co-opted the American flag and they equate being an American or an American flag with white supremacy. And that should never be ever the symbol of white supremacy.”

Well, if she is that afraid of people flying the nation's most recognized symbol of freedom, the flag, then she should lock herself in her house until the holiday is over. Unless she lives next to someone like me, who flies Old Glory 24/7/365, then she should become a hermit.

In real life, neighborhoods with lots of flags are probably safer than neighborhoods without. She just does not like seeing that most American reject her hatred for America.

As for the “Patriot Front”, IMO, they are false-flagging Trump- and conservatives-Haters. Antifoids don’t attack them, the first dog that doesn’t bark. The MSM don’t dox them, the second dog that doesn’t bark. The train ride pic is obvious theater. The lone black woman - in a city with a high % of black residents - shows zero concern about being surrounded by mask white dudes, and a Reuters fauxtographer “just happened to be there”. As pointed out by others here, it's amazing how the photo op on the train is being touted as proof. Proof of what exactly?

If she doesn't feel safe, in a community where the United States flag is prevalent, she is now bordering on mentally unfit. It is amazing how anti-American this bigoted and racist person is. Her hatred for America is founded is dripping. I believe that every other woman on The view is just as bigoted and anti-American.

So how does ABC continue to view the View? Is this ABC's political viewpoint? Are they communist and socialist sympathizers? Are they actually servicing the general views of the United States populace? Should the Federal Communications Commission look into their licensing as not being beneficial to the United States, which is required.
