Nature serving up its fireworks display in honor of the birth of our nation! Does it get any better than that???!!!

And it starts about 11:00 p.m. tonight and could last as many as 3 days. Depends on how long this barrage of solar flares last.

If Sunsettommy can get away from the light pollution, he should have a really good show tonight.

Solar flares also have a biproduct of shutting down radio signal propagation on bands that benefit from Ionospheric reflections.

I had a clear skies last night and the show was awesome! I sat on my back porch total darkness for about 2 hours befor it got too cold for me.

I just took a look at the forecast for tonight and it is actually going to be better tonight than it was last night for everybody. Looking forward to another night on the porch.
