Well it looks he is finally fed with with their antics and is now calling them scum among other things. A bit late in my view, but at least it looks like he is done playing their endless games.

Not sure how this will end up, but I never could understand how he keeps saying we have the "greatest military in the world, by far", yet could not keep those clowns from blocking the Strait for months on end.

President Trump is a humanitarian and he knows that an all out attack on their infrastructure to destroy their economy will cause suffering and death to tens of thousands of innocent Iranian civilians. That's why he's given his all to get a negotiated settlement which I have always thought was impossible with these religious fanatics. My short term prediction is that he will hit them twice as hard every time they attack a tanker, one of our bases or one of our allies. I have no long term prediction but I wish we'd do a test run with a MOAB on one of their fortified Missile Cities.

Yes, expensive missiles are not the way to counter cheap drones, we'll run out of missiles before they run out of drones. Lasers would work but we don't have them deployed yet; we've been developing them for years but they're a year or two away from combat use in sufficient numbers. And we've yet to permanently take out any of the dozens of their fortified Missile Cities. We bomb and cave in the entrances and they clear them out in a few days or a week. Bunker busters can't take out mountains. What would a MOAB do, I don't know but we haven't tried and how many do we have? I suspect very few and we're not going to pop out these monsters at warp speed. It takes a specially equipped C-130 to deliver one.

The Straits of Hormuz will only be opened when Iran allows them to be opened. The President is painted into a corner and it's not his fault. Poor intelligence and/or over optimistic military. Take out their nuclear sites was fine but the rest of the war would have gone very differently if launched in spring of 2028 with lots of lasers and MOABs.

Destroy their infrastructure and economy? There'll be enough food for the guys with guns who are free to use them indiscriminately and the Straits of Hormuz will stay closed as the global economy tanks.

Hi TexanPearl, without a doubt the only thing stopping Trump from totally blitzing Iran is the world economy and financial market….. shares dropped when Israel and The US started the initial short war.
US military have used a lot of rocket ordinance, missiles are on short supply it’s said.

The problem is, you would ultimately have to remove everyone from that country who has a hard line view.

I don't think the world would tolerate that. But we can contain for the most part.

The Bible tells us that there will be a forced peace of 7 years. Now if you read closely in the book of Revelations, real peace only lasts about 3 to 4 years and then the snake starts withering its way up out of the hole. At which point, all hell breaks loose in the region.

Are we witnessing biblical prophecy come to fruition? I'm not so sure about that but if you look at a Vance or Rubio presidency after Trump then it could very well be what we're witnessing today.

Well I guess operation midnight Hammer part 3 is underway. Over 170 military installations and military targets have been destroyed in the last 48 hours.

In an interview this afternoon on Air Force One, president Trump noted that he may not be able to negotiate at all with Iran due to the insincerity of the negotiators. They do not wish to negotiate in good faith.
