    Charlie Kirk Murder/Assassination Thread.

As the Charlie Kirk murder/ assassination trial is now getting underway with the preliminary hearings, I think it is appropriate to keep all of those issues in one area. Please post anything on this particular trial here.

I've been watching the last 2 days of preliminary hearings on the Kirk murder.

On this day number two, the prosecution has laid out the assassin's movements through the assassination and after. Many of the new videos that were shown in court are very damaging. They identify the assassin throughout the video.

It's amazing to me that they actually have a full video of the assassin coming on to campus and leaving campus as well as taking the shot.

There is a grundle of evidence and the defense is trying everything in their power keep this evidence out of trial.

Utah is one of the only States that protects the victims. They must have a trial without delay.

Understanding this, the defense is objecting to every piece of evidence, no matter how small. Their whole intent is delay. I wonder at what point the judge will have enough of the defenses tactics to admonish them and maybe even sanction them. The preliminary hearing is to justify probable cause. That was defined yesterday and again today. There is no reason to continue this preliminary hearing.

I understand the judge wants to shine a light on everything and be left without any possibility of being overturned. That said, there has to be a limit to the pain and suffering they are causing the victims family.

What I find noticeably not present, the usual suspect agitators!

Is there so much evidence that they do not want to bring it to light again? That it is their extremist views that fueled this assassination? One has to wonder why the usual agitators are not present.

        Food for thought....

The other thing that it might be, is the upcoming midterms and how it would affect Democrat chances. This is going to be in the news quite a bit for the coming months.

The bullet shattered when it hit Charlie so it cannot be linked to the rifle. The defense is trying to make a big deal out of that fact. But of course it cannot be linked to ANY rifle.

Even with a shattering of the bullet, it can be linked to that caliber weapon. And as I recall it has been. So while it may not be directly linked by riflings, it is directly linked by caliber.

There are hundreds of thousands of that caliber of rifles around so it does not narrow it to a specific gun

There's so much more evidence that I don't think it will matter if the judge excludes the rifle. That might eliminate at least one appeal by the defense.

The rifle had Robinson's DNA on it.

I don't think the judge can dismiss the rifle or the caliber. There was only one rifle that discharged a round. There was only one rifle of that caliber in the vicinity. Circumstantial evidence is extremely prejudicial against the man who pulled the trigger. So while it may not be critically linked, the circumstantial evidence links it. And with his DNA being on the trigger, the brass that was recovered, and the other rounds in the magazine, the circumstantial evidence is more than enough to produce a conviction.

that's not all we have, however. Add to this all of the video evidence of the day prior to the assassination where he was walking the areas. Plotting and planning. Then the video evidence of him committing the ACT. There is enough hard evidence linking him to the murder or assassination, that his defense team is simply trying to drag this out.

In a classic move of a leftist turning the tables to paint themselves the victim after an attack against a conservative, actress Amanda Seyfried claims she had to get a bodyguard due to the backlash she received for bashing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk after his assassination.

“A, I’m allowed to fucking voice my feelings, and B, do it in a way that’s not unkind necessarily,” Seyfried — who smeared Kirk as “hateful” on social media after his assassination — told GQ magazine in a recent interview.

“But there’s just an outsized fear and hatred and impulse to bash and to tear down. And I experienced a very small fraction of that,” the Mean Girls actress ironically added.
Amanda Seyfried brought it onto herself. She has herself solely to blame. No one else, but herself. Slamming Charlie Kirk is going to get them severely shamed.

It takes a really brave person to smear someone when they are dead and cannot defend themselves.
